that's good to know - I'm in Australia and don't get the local detail of this but had heard Mamdani's plans amounted to kicking the economic can down the road a bit ... to hear that this is the actual funding source makes me feel a bit more hopeful, thanks

works really really well for things like Markdown and other text-based formats but if you prefer a WYSIWYG editor that can run atop git, I'd suggest looking at https://obsidian.md
#2 - my initial thought was "hah - use git, problem solved" and then realised all my commit messages are "update" or "minor change" or "wip - intermediate commit" and similar, so ... yeah
agreed on that point, just figured a photo from the locale talked about in the article would have been a better choice
... and yet the photo was taken on Bourke St in Melbourne, Australia which isn't anywhere near Europe, last time I checked ...
this, however I have heard that for some types you need to take these out and shake them up once in a while as after years of vibration when driving the powder inside tends to clump together and they're much less effective when this happens ...

... I had no idea Snowy was female - it's never really been discussed in a storyline as far as I'm aware, the characted is always referred to directly by name ... English being English we tend to ignore word gender which may be why, I don't know ...
ooh ... are these cel-animations from the original comics, live-action or CG-rendered? I have seen the most recent CG-rendered films and they're very good, the live-action was ... ok?
my love for the Asterix translators went up several notches when I discovered the character names were just as fun in their native language - I grew up with Dogmatix from the English translations and only discovered the French name as Idefix very recently ... it's such a good mapping between the two ... and all the jokes in Asterix the Legionaire ... *chef's kiss*
I usually have the sound off, so I didn't twig that this was a video until the camera moved a bit ... bliss
well, we're only seeing their highlight reel, so some shit eating may have been involved off-camera ...
