Interesting, I'm in Canada and a Z where I work is position. So ZSLL would be a position switch that rings in a ZALL signal to the DCS. 1/2

I do instrumentation(mostly upstream) and am also curious. I'm assuming someone fucked up while working on the system maybe.
I would want to say no. Too many design limitations and mechanical failsafes but if they cut costs in the wrong places, possible I guess.
There is no DCS at a regulator station. Maybe at the compressor stations on the transmission side but not on the distribution side.
All gas distribution regulator stations are pneumatic controlled so they can operate without power. A cyber attack can't do this.
Where do you work that uses "PZHH"? I've only ever seen PAHH and just curious about naming conventions in different countries/industries.

That's exactly how you asses whether you need more or less compression or rebound damping in your suspension.
