Good loop!
OK, not to give Trump credit for anything, but in general I can get behind doing AI video of bombing someone, in lieu of actually bombing attacking someone. we can call it "Lets-not-and-say-we-did-diplomacy"
And he will continue to be revered, because he made people feel good, and proud, thus proving the utility of P.R. over substance.
This is certainly a new twist on "The Stranger"
I don't know much ab out bees, but do they really "naturally" overproduce? One the one had, I wonder if this is a consequence of breeding, in the same way dairy cows produce more milk than their wild ancestors. Also, I know that some bee keepers have to feed their bees sugar water, paced in the open near the hive, as a way to make up for the honey they take.
Aww man. as soon as I saw the first Pic I was all ready to swoop in with the "Her bottle was a specialty Jim Bean bottle" trivia fact. But you already knew it.
"Kodak literally invented the future" I think that goes a bit far. The dude who "invented" the digital camera was integrating a bunch of known pieces of tech, as a feasibility study. If you want something that more closely approaches "X invented the future and decided the future was bad for business" look into Xerox Parc and the Xerox Alto.
Like the story of John Henry.
I'll take images I never wanted in my head for $1000, Alex.
Man. That sucks because our original map placement seemed pretty awesome. Think we can go back to a previous save? Or do we need to start a whole new game?
To attract independents, they need to play up her lack of PAC funding. There's significant anti-big-money sentiment that Democrats are usually so piss poor at exploiting.
I didn't mind Vindman, in isolation, but it was hard to ignore the feeling of a 15-minutes-of-fame dude swooping in last minute. Nixon was the better choice, both in local political experience and on issues. It's good to see that the Democratic rank and file in Florida is not easily beguiled by big money.
Yeah, anyone who's seen an old school forge that actually burns coal knows that dealing with the combustion gases is a 'thing'. In a coal plant, you can have filters to strip that gunk out, but then disposing of the filters full of residue is its own 'thing' (and a detail rarely addressed by idiots who talk about how hard it is to recycle solar panels and windmill blades) . And filtering out ALL the pollution (including CO2) is a pipedream.
"WAY too much cheese" I recognize all those words, but cannot understand them in that sequence.
Duh.
this dynamic reminds me of the Vote Fraud controversy. the right accule the left of massive voter fraud, as a way of explaining away whenever the lose. But they BELIEVE the lie, and so think they are justified in performing their own electron fraud to, in their minds, compensate.
They love their side, and hate the other side. In their minds they defend the rightness of their side by telling themselves that the accusations of rape against their leaders are lies and a tactic of control. That justification powers a further justification... that if the other side can use lies about rape to attack them, they are 'allowed' to use lies about rape to attack the other side. This is the same dynamic we see in vote fraud.
A scene I think of whenever I hear of inventors who should be more socially lauded. https://youtu.be/IbAbFF6Xc04?si=9VYUzmK4RTVR6JNi
dude, I'm old. I remember when Quayle was the benchmark for stupidity.
This one is new to me! I shall look into it.
I want Sci-fi level Diamond clad Microfiche.
Alas, all my CDRWs amassed from my youthful torrenting days are coming up now full of errors.
I've been looking for some sort of good long term digital storage medium to return all my cloud stored content to local control, but there are no good "fire and forget" archival mediums. Everything a home user can get requires depressingly short horizons of maintenance to prevent data loss.
Bobby Williams sucks, and his work history is such that his hat is indeed an affectation. But as for Florida in general, we're like the 10th to 15th state in beef production, depending on how you count. also Florida plays a big part in the beef industry in calf production. Calfs are born and weaned here, and sent of elsewhere for finishing.
Republicans replying to any suggested help "That's Socialism!!!" Also Republicans "Why does everyone think Socialism is good now?"
The account closures happened in 2021; But Trump's lawsuit against Capital One (that is putting this in the news) is going now, and the news outlets that carried it did so from information released this month.
Trump is suing capital one. He says they closed his accounts for political reasons after he lost last term. They say that their anti-money laundering team closed them after months of research,
"I'm not just a client. I bought the company!"
and the touch up job did nothing for poor Gary Player. How Ungenerous!
