“Settlers” imply settling on an uninhabited region. Colonizing/invading implies, more accurately, the act of removing someone else from that land.
You’re either a terrible propagandist or a misinformed historian. Tell us which one so that we may help you appropriately.

The issue is the bully, not the victim. Unfortunately the bully here is the USA (via Israel/IOF-backed “settlers”). Even entire non-apartheid countries that fight back have little effectiveness against this huge bully. This brave young journalist + countless others have attempted to document the disgusting and aggressive nature of the IOF/Israelis; you simply don’t hear of them as often as you do the “fighting back” of the Palestinians. It is plastered all over the world as constant propaganda.

I think you’re right in trying to describe the empathy necessary to eventually reconcile here… the issue is that we are currently in the midst of the genocide and the perpetrators and their enablers (like this unfortunate woman) need to be stopped. PERIOD. Sometimes it’s too hard (or simply too complicated for mine and these other replies) to find ways stop it through kindness; however, what you’re describing (empathy) is ABSOLUTELY necessary - just not right now DURING the genocide. Stop first.

Are you implying that US Democratic Party civilian voters should be attacked in similar ways as Democratic Party active duty military should? Especially if there isn’t a war… just some “targeted strikes”? Are you familiar with why the Geneva conventions exist … or that they even exist ?? The headline is only objective to genocidal maniacs. Exactly! Hamas is a tool used by ignorant and evil people. Hamas never existed until the terrorist state of Israel was invented in 1948 - even then, not until many decades of genocide were underway. There were other factions of rebellion that came before them (each being quite easily explained given the ongoing genocide during their inceptions too) so using hamas, a very recent and Israeli-funded faction, to defend any pro-Israeli endeavour is lazy misinformation and straight-up propaganda.

Taxpayers clearly lose money through the treasury though. I think you may have a bias view here for some reason but the job of the fed reserve is just to “settle” the shortcomings over time. That doesn’t mean there aren’t real losses or gains, they’re just moved around to create more “stability”. Money lost is money lost and if the taxpayers fund it then they lose the money while these banks/fed owners/members are guaranteed no losses.

Firstly, if the US military did in fact carry out this kidnapping with the precision and force we are told it did, then the Geneva conventions will certainly apply - how the Venezuelan president is now treated will dictate any such violations. Secondly, police forces don’t lawfully act in foreign sovereign bodies unless they are expressly granted jurisdiction … which in this case the US was not. This kidnapping certainly violates laws and treaties
