Further, RWD isn't terrible in the snow, not like in the past. I have a RWD 550i, and with snow tires it handles better than most cars.
Why not? Most Crown Vics were RWD, and Charger Pursuits are RWD with optional AWD. I know the State Patrol here have RWD w/ mix of V6/V8s
