the willingness to compete over anything else is very strong for these people. So that is a one thing, that is why they're on top of their respective sports. Also money, a lot of times they are under a sponsor contracts as well as contract with their government etc that they need to go there even if they themselves disagree. Other option is likely a complete career suicide as an athlete when your own institutions turn their back for you for breaking the contracts.
if you ask the russian russians, unless you're part of the russians living in moscow and the area, you dont matter. So the people east of Urals arent the actual russian russians and their land (or lives) dont really matter. Its a convoluted mess I've found out when I've talked with them.
They definitely have called themselvefs to be part of the europe, as morally, economically and geologically in the past, and they will again in the future when it is convenient for them.

Couple actual reasons come to mind that arent the troll ones as others have listed below.- Ease of access - you dont need to re-learn new recipes and ways of eating if you can just switch the protein- Not standing out - everyone else is eating hot dogs, having a bowl of tofu soup with them is not the same experience. Some food, like hot dog, is paired with sports events etc.Despite what people are writing I've still not met a vegan on 30+ years that has pushed their diet on me any way.
yes and no. Similar to beef, plastic is often cheaper than alternatives due to the ton of direct and indirect goverment substitutes they get. So of course plastic is cheaper compared to recycled plastic when the direct one is substituded by a lot and the recycled one is, sadly often, given increased taxes for handling "hazarduous waste materials" and such
entirely depends on why the can is dented. I've seen one where it got dent cause the food inside it rot. Smell was....memorable to say at least.

better option is to always click on the "not interested" and "dont recommend" from the sidebar and leave any interaction on the video to that. That, at least in the past, has steered the algo to start to avoid that style of videos. Doesnt work on other social media platforms tho :/
the sad reality with how the algo functions on youtube is that it will push more of those videos to you n people it thinks are similar watchers as you since you open them and give them watchtime + comment. It doesnt matter for the algo usually how you react as long as you react and negative feelings keep people on the platform longer cause raging so its "better". Sme shit for twitter / insta etc.

Usually there is plenty of sources on why some source might be iffy or why they think its good etc. On some articles there has been years of propaganda war going on as well on those comments, whether it is some medical drugs or historical figures etc etc.

I mean, would it be any separate from any other modern day military outpost kinda ordeal? People being sent there in a rotating shift for a week at a time with their food and other necessities. Then they sit there all bored fearing something would happen and there being actual reason for being there and them actually needing to do their job. Likely they also had a way to communicate with the nearby military base or something with ravens or other means so if they had issues they could get help.
you can install linux on an usb stick and run it from there on your computer for basic work/ browsing and test how you feel bout it. If you like it and run windows you can install it alongside the existing windows installation as dualboot so you can return back to windows whenever you want to. There are easy to follow guides to do both of them online
