I start work when the sun gets up. DS would just push everything back, making it harder for after-work errands

Babies are ugly. The instinct to nurture comes from their fragility/innocence. The cuteness hack is needed when they start walking, closely followed by drawing on walls with sharpie and faeces

I once got so frustrated I cut new edges with a sharp knife, and lost them immediately after I put the knife down.So I cut new edges again, peeled about 8 layers off until I got the tape back to a single length, then lost the end again.That roll of tape went in the bin.
I think of it as euthanising feral pests. Cats are a big reason native species are endangered. Keep it inside, please.
