first flight would be testing, not introduction. i'm not arguing the correct metric, just pointing out where the number came from
introductions (to service?): 1942 and 2005, per wikipedia. probably where the number came from.
maybe it's like fish and fishes; depends on whether or not the distinction between types (species of lego?) is important
thought it would be cool to match facebook friends (or strangers) up by watchlist and suggest getting together to watch, but no open api =(

the profs at my alma mater voted to take a pay cut instead of raise tuition when funding was pulled during the recession. not all are bad.
