I’ve been in this industry for years, always left jobs on good terms. I give good service.
He said “you’re making me uncomfortable”, and then fired me after I complied. That’s the part I take issue with.
I have a second job, so I’m not particularly strapped for cash. Just appalled at the treatment and wanted to put them on blast is all.
There’s a pooled tip jar on the front counter - customers consistently go out of their way to give cash to me specifically. I’m well-liked.
No prior complaints, no issues with other employees.
I work in a suburb of Portland, OR. The manager is pretty awkward and ugly. I think he just didn’t like seeing things he can’t have.
I’m a waitress! When I bartended, I wore Way racier stuff
