Hello, I am a dorky Canadian chick who likes to fly planes and play video games.
If you actuality went super that close to a helicopter there's a good chance bad things would happen. This guy's just transsonic though, you see the vapour cloud because they're close to the water (both denser air and lots of moisture). No shockwaves if you're still under the mach but lots of turbulence still probably.
Ah yeah that's fair lol. Little dinguses have a brain cell between them like orange cats.
Can they break skin when they bite? My leo has confused my fingers for bugs before but she can't do any real damage.
Lol I have one of these. They're so cute and so, so stupid. Their little happy faces are just the best
I mostly know that it's actually cold when it gets hard to breathe...the air just catches in your throat. Your eyelids freezing shut is also a good indicator it's time to put on a hat.
TBH I don't think any of those would really do much lol, if you expended the APU fire bottle you'd probably delay the flight a few hours depending on maintenance but that's about it
Lmao yeah as the flight safety person this makes me extremely uncomfy. You couldn't pay me to take off in that garbage.
Don't change the topic. Hold them accountable.
Nope, you just send it! Most times it'll be the monkey see monkey do mentality, your instructor will demo first. When you understand what is happening and how to correct it, it is very easy to recover from. And they're fun too!
Yeah this was the same argument I got. Single my whole life, super ace, never wanted kids but sure the doc definitely knows what I want better than I do.
You said the rhyme, you did the crime.
I really want this too. To my knowledge, I'm the 7th woman in my country to do what I do. It would be amazing to have everyone stop acting all surprised that I managed to do this without having a penis. I didn't get into it to be special, but people love to make it a big deal.
Yep, same thing in northern Alberta. +6 today and almost no snow. Gives me the heebies and the jeebies.
Too early to tell likely. In the flight safety world we use the "swiss cheese model" - usually there's a lot of small factors that all pile up until an accident becomes inevitable, like the holes on swiss cheese all lining up. Good investigators don't seek to place blame, but to find the facts to make sure it doesn't happen again.
My parents did this for me when I was about 8. At the time I didn't understand why it was important, but looking back I'm so grateful they did. Knowledge is power. Please do this!
I'm okay with this proposition.
Because they're not trying to string them along? They're having a good platonic time. Their point is that that friendly good time goes away as soon as sex isn't on the table anymore, which is frustrating as shit when you think you've made a friend.
Carnotaurus for its tiny little hands, or Baryonyx for its finger claw!
It's not so much height as femur length, though height does play in. Don't want to suddenly lose your knees in an ejection if they hit the instrument panel on the way out. There's weight limits too for the seat, both minimum and maximum.
Lmao I remember reading about that and it makes me so mad
408 is great, I have a couple friends there :)
I'm glad :) she's been so great. She was a rescue and it breaks my heart thinking of her sitting alone in the shelter.
Thanks! She's such a goober
That's interesting. I find the Hornet easier to fly close form in than aircraft without auto trim for that exact reason. I have heard of teams without auto trim inputting a ton of back trim to accomplish that force, but didn't know these nerds tie it with bungees.
It gets brutal when you're on the side looking into the sun, and you just have to keep staring at the sun indefinitely.
Nah honestly you shouldn't be using the rudders that much flying close form. Smooth inputs, don't over-control, and remember to wiggle the toes and breathe.
