Unpopular opinion: We're living in a renaissance off ttrpgs and you should really try playing something not D&D. Even if all you want is faux-medieval fantasy wish fulfillment there are better designed more interesting games out there and you'll be giving your money to small creators instead of fucking Hasbro.

My family was planning on going hiking in Yellowstone when a half dozen of those enormous bastards just sort of decided to chill outside of our trailer for several hours. We played scrabble while keeping the dog away from the window and my little brother enthusiastically commented on the size of their poops.
