There are dick versions of every category. We just have to try not to judge a whole group based on a few vocal people.

Australian magpies are a different family. Their beak shape/pattern is different and they don't have all grey back + belly like that.

Yeah kinda gross, and it wrecks their feathers if it gets on them. It's thick so really easy to choke on too. The nestlings like it though.

No, luckily they find all the supplements they need in the wild. Having a friendly garden is the best way to help them with this.
Such a fast metabolism, they actually need to eat a lot, nectar for calories and insects for protein.
They can't survive off that, they will die of protein deficiency.
Young hummingbirds in rehab have to be fed every 15min sunrise to sunset. It's a lot of work. And they can't survive off just sugar water.
