This is opportunism by the Turks as a result of the ongoing conflict in Syria. Its far from black and white but certainly not a new conflict

That's 'people of the book', Judaism Christianity and Islam are all Abrahamic religions. Abraham is an important prophet in Islam as well.
Allah is just the Arabic word for God, it's still and Abrahamic religion, Islam/Christianity are more similar than most realise (or want to)
