Not really. There’s a big difference between Federal background checks and pre employment screenings.
If it’s a legit background company, you should be able to dispute the charges. They have to correct it, legally. Source: this is my job.

The sad news is, they do run background checks. Either they fudged up or the charges were from after the background check was run.
