As a fellow Saint Bernard owner, I can confirm that they do indeed like hugs and snuggles.
It was my Kitty's birthday yesterday too! Happy birthday, Chester!
Berner baby!! Mine still loves chasing her tail and has since taught our Saint Benard the trick too. My dogs are huge and dizzy a lot.
They are! Having a Berner and a Saint Bernard at the same time is a blast! So many doggie snuggles!
So. Much. Hair. We have one and a Saint Benard. We have gone through like three vacuums in a year!
As a Berner owner, this doesn't change much as they get older. Mine still does this and has taught our Saint Bernard puppy this habit too.

Everyone here knows not to remove it until mid October at the earliest! Second summer always comes around...
