Really? I don't see that in the previous comic
Fatima should have had Val be a host/announcer figure instead of competing in the tournament, since everyone already knows she's the best player. She was obviously ok not getting the prize money, that would have been a way for her to allow others to "win" the tournament. And who knows, maybe play against Val at the end for an exhibition match or something. Do something that doesn't trivialize Val or ask her to lie. But I know, the story must go on :D

Sometimes people "working there" are vendors, stocking the eggs or something specific, and they don't know where the zebra cakes are.
Judging by his face, it's not actually beneath his notice. I wonder if it's better to pretend that kind of thing doesn't bother us, or better to acknowledge it and say we've learned to ignore it and move on quickly when it does happen

For me the fun is that it's light-hearted and positive, and the dad is usually something whimsical and unique, like the entire cantina. It doesn't usually have a TON of upvotes, but I appreciate that it's OC (not a screenshot of an American news article) and different every time (not "here's my legs again")

Same. And every couple days I notice a couple more, with odd posting patterns. Accounts that never used to post politics will suddenly turn very active and very political. Multiple front-page submissions per day, out of nowhere. Oh well, block em
