something about yourself

One of my cats*

That said, he also really likes popcorn. He was initially found outside in a corn field as a kitten.

Any time we bring ears of corn into the house, we have to hang it on a hook like a bear hang or else one of your cats will rip open the bag, eat the husks, and barf it back up over and over again. Once they are cooked, he’s completely disinterested.

That poll is specifically Israeli Jews. It’s important to recognize that there is a
big divide between Israeli and international communities.

I remember reading that Palm Pilot ui design teams had a tap counter person who was responsible for counting how many taps it took to perform an action. If a feature took too many taps, it had to be re-designed.

I don’t know that it’s the case here, but I saw a video of turtles fighting where one of them flipped the other by pushing them off of something and then immediately tried to help flip them back.

I feel like this should be turned into a Gorillaz Demon Days style album cover if they ever release one.

The information is coming from inside the bubble. For the longest time, they’ve been yelling fake news. Now that the information is coming from someone inside the conservative bubble, the fake news claims become just a little bit harder.

It’s a song from Les Misérables - a musical about the French Revolution

48.3% to 49.8%. It wasn’t the mandate they keep saying it was. It sucks, but those who didn’t want this aren’t alone. That’s also ignoring the Jim Crow style voter suppression and ballot tossing.

As a local Hershey resident, that would be horrible, but also the Milton Hershey School trust fund owns a controlling share in the company (also Hershey Park and resorts) and would have to vote for it. There have been other takeover bids in the past that have failed because of the ownership structure.

Some camera apps like Halide allow you to manually select which lens you’re using.

Heartbleed and Shellshock are examples of massive bugs that went on for years before being patched.

If you’re interested in the topic, Stuff Made Here (YouTube) engineered a lock and explained his process, and Lock Picking Lawyer did some collaborations with him on it that were interesting. He did it from the perspective of a novice, but the concepts are pretty cool.

This kind of ride is called a dive coaster from B&M. Because the trains are so wide, they are super heavy, which means that the track holding it up has to be thicker than usual, which means that it’s expensive. Because of this, most B&M dive coasters are pretty short.

It’s a B&M dive coaster. They make a decent number of them. They’re about to open one at Dorney Park next year.

My thought was that at least you don’t have to go looking for an example to try it out on once you get it open.

Or at least a bike with a baseball card flapping in the spokes.

If you’re interested in this type of stuff, Open Circuits by Eric Schlaepfer and Windell H. Oskay is pretty cool.

Seems like juuust enough to say that their fees are’t higher than the tickets. That’s still 75% of the actual ticket price.

I find that if the flour has tapioca in it, it’s a good indication that it’s going to be a good gluten free bread. Rice alone is bleh.

Do you like to cook? The America’s Test Kitchen How Can it be Gluten Free book has a recipe for flour that works really well.

They removed it in the US, so I guess that means that we would need a VPN.

I had a professor that liked to answer with https://lmgtfy.app links. He was pretty great as long as he saw that you put in some effort.
