I love this. It helped me understand the planet "tilting away from the sun" to cause seasons. When I first saw this I finally understood what my elementary school teachers were trying to explain. It also didn't help to have one kid stand in the middle of the room as the sun, for other kids to walk around as the other planets.
Maybe you could donate them to a school. They are always short of art supplies.
