I had a kid recently stare at me. I wave. He asks why is my hair purple. I tell him I like it like that. He says it's weird. I laugh and say yea I'm weird. The dad laughs and reminds the kid he's weird too. I ask the kid if he's gonna get purple hair now (he said maybe when he's older). You can tell this poor kids world view is changing. I love engaging like that
