Similar thing happened to me. Lost 50lb but my long socks don't fit because my calves are bigger (I bike about 5 hrs a week including some hill charge work).

Nostalgia is a really good term to evoke here, because that word basically means the pain of knowing. It's that feeling of loss, and I think it's never something that goes away but that you can learn to recognize and quiet that voice. Sounds like you are already on that path, reminding yourself of all the bad things just as fast as you remembered the urge.

That's a great accomplishment, but also a bit extreme. A calorie deficit of more than 500 or so per day is a bit risky. In the end though, I agree that it's all about what you can keep up.

They look unbearably cringey. Dirty guitar, sloppy playing of all instruments, drummer wearing band's own shirt, guitarist wearing a fucking fender shirt, goes on and on.
Automated liquid handlers have difficulty liquid classes and it's definitely a valuable skill set to be able to script them. But yeah, variability can come from way more than the limits of the instrument.
